By downloading or using Rooted ("the app"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
Rooted is a sleep and dream journaling app that offers tracking, reflective AI insight, and wind-down tools. It is a wellness product, not a medical device (see §7).
You're responsible for your account and for the accuracy of the email you provide. You must be at least 13 (16 in some regions). You can delete your account and data at any time in Settings → Delete account.
Rooted offers a free tier and optional paid subscriptions. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and are managed and cancelled in your store account. Refunds are handled by the respective store under their policies.
Your dream entries, recordings, and notes are yours. You grant Rooted only the limited licence needed to store, process, and display that content to you and to provide the AI features you request (see our Privacy Policy). We don't sell your content or use it for advertising.
Don't misuse the app: no reverse-engineering, abuse of the AI endpoints, automated scraping, or attempts to access other users' data.
Rooted does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Sleep stages, scores, and dream insights are estimates and reflections for general wellness and self-reflection only — not clinical measurements. Do not rely on Rooted for any medical decision. If you have a sleep disorder or health concern, consult a qualified professional. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.
The app is provided "as is." We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and AI outputs may be inaccurate. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rooted is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on the app's estimates or AI insights.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
